![]() When will I receive my artwork?
In most cases you will receive your art within 5-7 business days. Depending on where in the country you live, which piece you purchase, the size and/or panel layout, and other factors, the lead time could be slightly shorter or slightly longer than that. We typically have a few of each design in stock and ship within 2 business days. For wholesale/bulk orders our lead time is typically 4-6 weeks. What is the best way to hang my new metal art? The back of our latest designs have fold-out 'sawtooth' steel tabs that hang easily on nails, screws or hooks. Use 2 per panel to be safe, but be sure to measure carefully and keep them level. If the wall art will be displayed in a high-traffic area and there is a reasonable risk of panels getting bumped or rattled, you may want to go with hooks rather than nails or screws as the extra lip makes it very hard to rattle off. Any of these mounting supplies can be purchased at most hardware stores. Other options you can consider, for more unique circumstances (such as high-risk areas, outdoor mounting, etc.): male/female locking brackets, masonry anchors, liquid nails, or industrial-strength dual-sided tape. How does Metal Art Studio get the images on metal? Sometimes we refer to our technique as a 'digital painting' or an 'acrylic ink application.' It is a revolutionary procedure that allows our artists who specialize in digital graphic design (think Pixar movies, for example) as well as general photographers to create metal wall art from their images. Depending on the design we will use either opaque or transparent acrylic inks. The moderate transparency allows the metal to shine through, creating brilliant colors and crisp reflection on the surface. It also allows the artist to apply texture or grinds to the surface of the metal prior to applying the colors, giving the art added dimension and personality. The front panel of a dual-layer piece is off-center. How do I fix it? Occasionally the front panel of our 2-layer "Essence" pieces can get pushed off-center if it gets packaged a bit too tightly, if the carrier rattles it around too much, or if it just gets set slightly off when we make it and/or box it up. Since the front panel is "floating" and attached to the back panel with just a few tabs, all you need to do to fix it is hold the back panel with the colored panel face up, and gently push on the front panel with your thumbs or fingers to realign it back in the center. The tabs are made from mild steel, so they are strong and as long as you do it gently you shouldn't worry about breaking them. How do I become a reseller of your art?
